MAKE ART is a one-hour therapeutic session, available in person at the studio or online via Zoom or Google Meet.
You do not need any art experience or know what you want to make. You simply arrive as you are.
At the beginning of our hour together, we will take some time to connect and notice what is present for you. From there, I will guide you into an art-making process shaped around what you need that day.
If you are joining online, you will be invited to have a few simple materials nearby. There is no need to buy anything special. You might gather:
Paper or a sketchbook
A pencil or pen
A few coloured pencils, crayons or pastels
Old magazines, newspapers or images for cutting
Scissors and glue
A few natural materials that appeal to you — leaves, twigs, stones, bark, flowers or anything gathered respectfully from your surroundings
You may draw, make marks, work with images or words, explore natural materials, or simply begin with conversation. There is no set outcome and nothing you need to get right.
We will make space to notice what emerges and, where helpful, reflect together on what the experience brings into awareness.
To begin, contact me directly to arrange your one-hour session or an initial conversation to discover whether MAKE ART feels right for you.
